AED PAD (Public Access Defibrillation)

Course Description

This program teaches participants to recognize when a patient requires EMS, provide basic CPR skills and orientation to operation of an AED in a public setting. There are no prerequisites to the AED-PAD course. This is a non-certification course and does not carry Medical Directorship. Participants are urged to take CPR C and the AED responder certification if responsible for providing first aid as part of employment or in a volunteer capacity
