Lifesaving First Aid Instructor

Course Description

The Lifesaving First Aid Instructor Application Form (available online or contact programs2@lifesaving.bc.ca) must be submitted to the Lifesaving Society (minimum 2 weeks prior to course start date) BEFORE REGISTERING with us.
This course prepares candidates to teach and evaluate the courses of the Lifesaving First Aid program (Emergency First Aid, Standard First Aid, Aquatic Emergency Care and CPR). The training includes completion of the Lifesaving First Aid Instructor course and a required apprenticeship (not included in this course) before being eligible for certification.

Prerequisites: LSI, SFA, Bronze level teaching experience and 18 years as well as Pre-course assignments (pick-up at front desk no later than 1 week before course start date). Bring a suit and towel.
