This course prepares candidates to instruct the Red Cross Swim Programs (Preschool Swim, Kids and AquaAdults). Candidates focus on how to teach effectively and evaluate performance criteria; evaluates instructional emergency response skills; emphasizes stroke development drills and corrective strategies; and, instructors apply their teaching skills and knowledge through 12 hours of teaching experience.
100% ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION MANDATORY!
Prerequisites: 15 yrs and AWSI.
