Camp Description

This fun and exciting camp includes one hour of learning techniques for Scuba Diving followed by two hours of in-water modules starting from the shallow-end and moving to the deep-end as the course progresses. For half day options, you have the choice of scuba, swim lesson, and recreational swim in the morning or afternoon. When not in the pool, the children will participate in a variety of arts and crafts and games under supervision of our experienced leaders. Please note that the scuba camp runs for 4 days and on the 5th day, your child will enjoy a fun and active time at Carnival Day with the rest of our campers. Camp participants must be comfortable in deep water.

 

PADI SEAL TEAM Log Book, DVD, Badge and Sticker in a water proof pouch can be purchased for $45+GST from the instructor. This is a valuable tool if your child will be pursuing further scuba diving training/certification. Recommended for 8 to 12 year olds. The PADI SEAL TEAM Pouch can also be purchased from the UBC Aquatic Society Office, located in the basement of the Student Union Building.
